Stage 3 of the Tour de France delivered a dramatic and chaotic day on the roads of France. High tension, heavy crosswinds, and multiple crashes shaped the stage's outcome—including the shocking withdrawal of green jersey favorite Jasper Philipsen, who was forced to abandon after being involved in a crash.

In the middle of the mayhem, Biniam Girmay once again showed incredible composure and resilience. Supported by his Intermarché–Wanty teammates, he stayed near the front of the peloton through the turbulence and powered to a 6th place finish in the bunch sprint.

Thanks to his consistency over the first three stages, Bini now sits 2nd in the points classification, just behind the current green jersey holder. With Philipsen out, the competition is wide open—and Bini is firmly in the mix.

What to Expect in Stage 4

Tomorrow's stage promises to be another challenge. Strong winds and a series of short, sharp climbs in the final 40 km will favor the general classification (GC) contenders. But if Bini can stay with the main group, he could be in position to contest a reduced sprint or finish high enough to take the lead in the green jersey competition.

His ability to adapt to unpredictable race conditions is proving to be one of his biggest strengths in this Tour.
